PANHARD ET LEVASSOR DYNA X 87 1953. Chassis n° 850319 Year :16.04 1953 French registration. The Dyna X 87 is a highly original little French saloon produced by Panhard et Levassor from 1948 to 1953, one of the most innovative manufacturers of its time. A perfect example of the company's spirit of technical innovation after the Second World War, the Dyna was astonishingly advanced for its time. It was powered by the famous 851cc air-cooled flat-twin engine developed by the firm's engineer Louis Delagarde, which produced 42-45bhp and a top speed of just under 130kph. The car's silhouette is instantly recognisable thanks to its very rounded wings, prominent headlights and tall, narrow bodywork, and is unlike any other French car of its time.
Purchased in 1988, it has remained in the same Beaucaire family ever since. Carefully maintained, it has been stored in a garage and is ready to hit the road again.
