Description
Porsche 924 Turbo, coupé, 1982, Phase 2. Chassis number WPOZZZ93ZCN100143, odometer reading 68,238 km (odometer reading subject to change and not guaranteed). Rare air conditioning option. Fitted with a sensor kit for regularity rallies. 4 ‘honeycomb’ style aluminium spoked wheels. A new set of tyres will be required as the current ones are over 10 years old. Petrol. Inline 4-cylinder engine, Bosch K-Jetronic mechanical fuel injection, 1,984 cm³, 177 ch at 5,500 rpm. No leaks in the engine compartment. Brakes in good working order. A visual inspection of the engine reveals no faults. The engine was reconditioned in 2023 (invoices available), 5-speed manual gearbox. The original paintwork is in excellent condition. No impact damage noted. The expert’s report finds no signs of corrosion and states that “the bodywork fits precisely and the windows are in good condition”. The expert report also states that “the visual condition of the mechanical components indicates consistent and thorough maintenance by the owner”. The imitation leather and velour upholstery and the carpets are in perfect condition. It should be noted – and this is common on this model (and others) – that the upper part of the dashboard shows some cracking, Recent invoices total approximately 7,000 euros: the air-conditioning compressor and the fuel pump have been replaced, and the heater core and radiator have been replaced. The alloy wheels have been restored, and the brake discs, caliper repair kit and shock absorbers have been replaced. The fuel injection unit and injectors have also been replaced. This is the most sought-after Turbo version, in Phase 2 specification, and, what’s more, very well maintained. This isn’t as common as you might think. This is a car for connoisseurs or regularity rally enthusiasts that is not to be missed. Valuation report available on request. MOT valid, standard registration document, sold as seen.
