Albert Ernest CARRIER-BELLEUSE (1824-1887), after "The Spring Group in patinated terracotta. (Some missing foliage and a chip in the hair) 37 x 50 x 23,5 cm A bas-relief on the façade of the Musée du Louvre depicting Abondance inspired Carrier-Belleuse, from the 1860s onwards, to create various groups of putti. The artist produced a number of variants, of which ours can be compared to the models in prints produced around 1864.
