White marble "obelisk" CLOCK decorated with an ormolu bas-relief representing two women carrying the world, surmounted by an armillary sphere, resting on a quadrangular base decorated with a frieze of putti in the taste of Clodion, the whole on a white marble base with four terminals linked by a chain. White enamelled dial, Arabic numerals for the hours, signed Le Nepveu in Paris.
First half of the 19th century.
