SEVRES
A pair of large ovoid vases in polychrome and gold-glazed porcelain, decorated with a panoramic scene depicting pastoral scenes in parks featuring a cupid. The pedestal and neck are decorated with trophies surrounded by friezes of gilded foliage against a kiln-blue background. The lids bear the SEVRES mark with the date 1844 and the mark of the Château des Tuileries.
Gilded bronze mount with a square, recessed plinth adorned with a laurel wreath bearing berries.
