Gilt bronze, enamel and cherry red marble.
The enamelled dial showing the hours in Roman numerals is encircled by a starry frieze. It is surmounted by an eagle encircling vine branches. A cartouche is signed "Terrien à Paris". It rests on a double arch inscribed on a rectangular base.
Wire suspension.
Empire period.
Height 47 Width 24.5 Depth 12 cm.

The "Dictionnaire des horlogers français" (p. 608) lists four watchmakers working under the name of Terrien between An XII (1803-1804) and 1818.
