Pedestal table
Chased and gilded bronze, porphyry.
It stands on four console feet decorated with acanthus leaves. Four connecting dice with plant decoration on top of four lion claw feet.
France, circa 1880.
Height 81.5 Width 68 cm.
Oxidation on the lower part, tops reglued.
Provenance: estate of a former antique dealer, Perche.

Our pedestal table has all the stylistic and quality characteristics of furniture made by the greatest bronzemakers of the second half of the 19th century, starting with Henry Dasson, whose workshop was located at 106, rue Vieille-du-Temple.
