Natural moulded and carved beech.
The cabriolet-shaped purplish back is topped with flowers. The armrests with moving cuffs are recessed. The curved belt is decorated with vegetal friezes. It stands on four curved legs.
Louis XV period.
Later embroidered upholstery decorated with roses and peonies on a cream background.
Height 94.5 Width 65 Depth 64 cm.
Restorations to the later legs.
Joint: Queen's armchair in moulded and carved beech. The curved back and waistband are carved with plant motifs, the armrests with moving cuffs fall away from the waistband. It stands on four curved legs. Fire mark "GA dans un ruban". High quality work in the Louis XV style. Height 102 Width 72 Depth 79.5 cm.
