Tapestry following on from the Lucas Seasons wall hanging created in 1535.
An aristocratic couple visit a vegetable garden, where they are greeted by a gardener while others dig, plant and prune, against a background of a Flemish castle with a fountain and Roman ruins.
With its flower garland border.

Tapestry depicting Spring, woven in Brussels in the 17th century, as a continuation of the Seasons of Lucas series of tapestries.
