SEVRES. One-litre cup and saucer in hard-paste porcelain. Polychrome decoration featuring a frieze of barbel on a ‘partridge-eye’ pink background, double rows of pearls and purple ermine motifs. Gold border with wolf’s teeth. Marked in light blue with the letters “ee” for 1782 above a marine anchor for the painter Charles Buteux the Elder (1756–1782). Height of the cup: 6 cm. Diameter of the saucer: 12.5 cm (small chip under the cup, wear to the gold)
