MESFIOUA culture, High Atlas, Morocco. Iron, silver, yellow copper, wood, aged patina. Two antique, slightly curved ‘Koumya’ daggers with scabbards featuring ‘peacock’s tail’ pommels. The ‘koumya’ is much more than a simple dagger; it is a true symbol of identity and social status in Morocco, not merely a weapon but also an accessory to men’s attire. Lengths: 39 cm and 40.5 cm.
