45. A SANCAI-GLAZED POTTERY OFFERING SET
Tang Dynasty
Comprising a shallow circular tray, eight small wine cups and a globular jarlet, all covered in splashes of brown, cream and green glaze, the upturned rim of the tray with a matching glaze spilling over onto the underside.
the tray: 25.8 cm (10 1/8 in.) diam.; the jar: 9 cm (3 1/2 in.) diam.; the cups: the largest 6 cm (2 3/8 in.) diam. (10).
