Lithographs by Vor Adam H. Gache, undated (c. 1855). Oblong quarto, illustrated cardboard binding. 24 numbered plates depicting 116 subjects. Some copies simply bear the inscription ‘by Vor Adam’ on the title page instead of ‘by a grenadier, formerly a hunter in the National Guard’. The copy presented here is one of these rare examples.
