Description
Charles Ranc (19th–20th centuries) Pair of wall sconces In gilded, chiselled bronze, signed, decorated with foliage supporting a two-tone opaline glass shade. Height: 27 cm Charles Ranc founded his company specialising in bronze lighting in 1909, on Rue de la Folie-Méricourt in Paris. Upon his death in 1928, when his children Eugène, Auguste and Madeleine took over the business, the company name became ‘Ranc Frères’.
