Here, the artist uses car paint applied to a sheet of metal, combined with ink and varnish. In doing so, he appropriates the techniques and materials of car bodywork and integrates them into the field of contemporary painting. The work was exhibited at the Frac Bretagne in Rennes in 2015, as part of the exhibition “Pascal Pinaud. Sur la route’, which traced twenty-five years of the artist’s creative output.
