China, late Qing dynasty. A candelabrum in the shape of a bell, made of gilded bronze and cloisonné enamel, with a polychrome decoration of lotus flowers and foliage scrolls on a blue background. The top is finely chiselled with motifs of foliage and lotus flowers, and surmounted by a frieze of Greek patterns. Bears a Qianlong mark in kaishu script. Height: 18.5 cm.
