Ottoman sabre, known as a kilij. Pistol-grip hilt with horn scales. Iron mountings, partly nielloed. Guard with two straight quillons and ear-shaped extensions. Blade with a pronounced curve, flat back, reverse edge, hollow edges and fuller, with a reserve decorated with calligraphy and a lion within a circle.
