Description
A rare cabinet resting on a cylindrical base with a rotating mechanism. This piece, which can be described as a masterpiece, is adorned with exquisite marquetry featuring cubes made from various types of precious wood. The front opens into two hinged sections, the inner doors of which are inlaid with a wave pattern, revealing compartments for letters. The central section opens by folding down onto a panel also inlaid with waves. This is in fact a flap that slides upwards to reveal a delightful display comprising niches and three drawers, the bottom one of which is subdivided.
