Description
Théodore LEGRAS (1839-1916). Bonneval vase, probably commemorating the crossing of Lake Geneva in its entire length, made on 27 July 1910 by the brothers Henri and Armand Dufaux. An art nouveau vase decorated with an aeroplane flying over a forest, enamelled on a brown background. A gold frieze decorated with aircraft adorns the top of the vase Height: 27 cm. Small surface chip on the upper edge of the neck. Illustrated in the book "François-Théodore Legras" by Marie-Françoise and Jean-François Michel, Dominique and Jean Vitrat. Page 98, figure 0101.
