GRATCHEV. St Petersburg, late 19th century. A rectangular cigarette case with rounded corners, featuring a match compartment and a compartment for tinder, with a vermeil interior. The exterior is decorated with a fan-shaped gadrooned pattern. The opening button and the monogram on the lid (MA) are in rose gold. The monogram on the back (WK) is in silver, surmounted by a princely crown. The date 1894–1895 is engraved on the inside of the lid.
