A red-lacquered wooden sedan chair, opening via a front door marked ‘JRT’ with a window that can be lowered. The back is decorated with the coats of arms of allied families beneath a count’s crown. 19th century. H.: 158 cm – W.: 78 cm – D.: 78 cm (Restored). This sedan chair belonged to the Marquise d’Arcangues, née Maria Luisa de Aramayo, wife of Pierre d’Arcangues. The Marquise regularly used this sedan chair when travelling.
