A pair of processional lanterns. Made of gilded metal with repoussé and chiselled decoration featuring gadroons and foliage; one is topped with a rearing lion, the other with repoussé gadroons, and the shafts are lined with studded velvet. Venice, late 17th – early 18th century. H.: 250 cm (Damage, losses, oxidation). This lot comes from the Oriental Room at the Château d’Arcangues.
