A pair of rectangular console tables, in carved and painted wood, gilded, the moulding adorned with mascarons and foliage, resting on four scroll-shaped legs surmounted by bas-relief mascarons, friezes of cascading foliage, and an X-shaped brace with a double twist centred on a drapery-patterned top. Carrara marble. Italian craftsmanship; one dating from the 18th century, the other from the 19th century. H.: 84 – W.: 145 cm – D.: 65 cm (Restorations, minor chips and losses). This lot comes from the Salon des Gobelins at the Château d’Arcangues. Collection is the responsibility and at the expense of the buyer.
