A large carved oak chest with a front featuring five panels of floral sprigs, and crossbars and uprights carved with foliage motifs. Opens at the front via two hinged doors. Scroll-shaped spandrels. Partly 17th-century, Hegoalde (Southern Basque Country). H.: 101 cm – L.: 171 cm – W.: 66 cm (Top panel added later, converted to double doors). This lot comes from the reception room of Arcangues Castle. Collection is the responsibility and at the expense of the buyer.
