A French mahogany billiard table resting on slender legs adorned with gilded bronze finials and appliqués. Manufactured by Poulain in Paris. With fifteen cues and a hanging rack. Under-table heating system; operation not guaranteed. 20th century. H.: 256 cm – W.: 140 cm (Signs of wear; torn lampshades). An iconic piece of furniture around which the Marquises of Arcangues – Guy in particular – would play at night with their guests, one of the most persistent being Darry Cowl.
