Inuit Art Snow Goggles Made from lightweight wood with a beautiful patina, with two holes drilled into the sides to allow a carrying strap to be attached H. 22 cm W. 7 cm The peoples of the Arctic have long used goggles made of wood, skin or bone to protect themselves from the sun’s glare on the snow. Consequently, most goggles had small slits to provide maximum eye protection.
