Standard finial showing a Horus falcon The bird of prey wearing the double crown is shown with his talons spread wide and his folded wings crossing over his tail feathers. He stands on a rectangular terrace, supported by two rows of uraei emerging from a lotus flower. Under the wooden base, an old collector's label enthusiastically describes the object. Bronze. Broken legs and visible damage. Egypt, Late Period to Ptolemaic Period, 664-30 BC Height: 14 cm Provenance : Given to the current owner by a friend who inherited it from her grandfather. A certificate will be given to the buyer.
