Set of ten religious works, North Africa, 16th-19th century Arabic manuscripts on paper in brown ink, some terms in polychrome inks, including : - a commentary on the Arba'in Nawawiyya dated AH 1191 / 1777, brown morocco flap binding with embossed decoration, 22 x 17 cm; - a large commentary on Hadiths on watermarked Italian paper dated AH 1262 / 1845, flap binding covered with marbled paper, 29.5 x 22.5 cm; - a collection of religious texts including the Qawa'id al-Islam, dated AH 1134 / 1721 and the 'Afidat at-Tawhid, bound in brown morocco covered with paper printed with floral decoration, 20.5 x 15.5 cm; - a commentary on the Qur'an by al-Baidawi dated AH 1259 / 1843, bound in brown morocco with a flap (one cover missing) and covered with marbled paper; - a commentary on Hadith in two parts, one of which is signed and dated AH 997 / 1589, in a brown morocco binding covered with marbled paper, 21 x 16.3 cm. Manuscripts as is.
