Set of seven manuscripts on various subjects, North Africa, Near East and Iran, 19th century and earlier Manuscripts on paper in black ink, some in red ink, including: - a commentary in Arabic on the Qasida Bânat Su'âd by Sheikh Jamal al-Din ibn Abdullah, flap binding with marbled boards, 23.4 x 16.5 cm; - a collection of Arabic texts on various subjects, medicine, prayer, grammar, etc., dated AH 1231 / 1815, flap binding with marbled boards, 21 x 16 cm.dated 1231 H / 1815, flap binding with marbled boards, 21 x 16 cm; - a book of poetic commentary in Arabic dated 1277 H / 1860, hardback with printed decoration, 21 x 15.5 cm; - a mathematics work dated 126(?)2 H / 1845, brown morocco flap binding covered with marbled paper, 21.6 x 17 cm; - a commentary on Hadiths in Persian dated 1255 H / 1839, hardback glued with printed leaves, 21 x 17 cm; as is. A small Turkish-Arabic translation work printed in Turkey in Safar 1266 AH / Dec. 1849, bound in marbled boards, 18.3 x 12.4 cm, is enclosed.
