Shahr Kitab al-Asturlab (Commentary on the Book of the Astrolabe), dated AH 1299 / 1881 Arabic manuscript on paper with 15 to 20 lines per page in naskhi calligraphy in sepia and red inks. In the body of the text, several diagrams and tables of figures and letters. Manuscript in several quires in a modern hardback binding and slipcase. The date 1299 H / 1881 is inscribed on the penultimate page. Size of folios: 23.7 x 16.8 cm; size of slipcase: 26.5 x 18.7 cm. Manuscript incomplete, foxing, folds, stains, small tears, original binding missing. A separate notebook from the first manuscript entitled Kitab Fawa'id [?] and dated 6 Moharram 1315 AH / 7 June 1897 and a folio from a third manuscript are included.
