Jewellery set, Morocco, early 20th century
Consisting of a necklace, strung with strands of coral and imitation amber fishnet beads, punctuated with Moroccan coins in pendants and arranged on either side of a diamond-shaped metal bead with pendants. Braided yellow wool strands at the ends. A Shams-u-Qamar godronné bracelet in partially gilded metal, two moulded metal fibulas, one with a circular case with tassels, and three silvered metal braid ornaments with pyramidal and partly filigree decoration are attached.
Length of necklace: 52 cm; total length of fibulae: 8.3 and 16 cm; inside diameter of bracelet: 6.2 cm; height of rings: 8, 6 and 6 cm; weight: 408 g.
