Akhnif shepherd's cape, Morocco, High Atlas, Aït Ouaouzguite, 20th century Hemispherical cape with bonnet, in black wool woven and embroidered with geometric motifs in orange, green, aubergine and white coloured wool threads, around an oblong yoke with a red background decorated with a prophylactic motif. Fringe of wool strands outlines the cape and trims the tip of the bonnet. Denim pocket with sewn-in zip. 133 x 230 cm Slight holes, some worn fringe.
