Description
Flintlock Escopette for the Orient, circa 1830 Blunderbuss barrel with thunderbolt muzzle, trimmed with brass plates and inlaid with silver vegetal decoration. The lock and hammer are engraved with a bird, plant motifs and the inscription "London waranted [sic]". Wooden stock and barrel with engraved decoration of squares, vegetal motifs and foliage, partly inlaid with metal wires, metal fittings. Trigger guard engraved with trophies, iron shaft and horn tip under the muzzle. Length: 65 cm A few traces of oxidation, small missing parts and accidents.
