[Boulangism] Henri Rochefort (1831–1913), a Boulangist pamphleteer, attacks Georges Clemenceau L.A.S. and P.A.S., circa 1893, addressed to Major Emile Driant, son-in-law of General Boulanger, including P.A.S., undated, 2 pages in-4, a handwritten draft of a pamphlet or newspaper column, signed and titled at the end of the text ‘The Knife to the Throat’, in which he discusses the corruption between Georges Clemenceau and the unscrupulous businessman Cornélius Herz in connection with the Panama Canal scandal: The few newspapers that defend Mr Clemenceau consider the majorities to be cowards.
