Large quarto, garnet morocco, decorated with a mosaic design of silver-inlaid boxes framed by a triple silver fillet and fanfare-patterned compartments; plain spine decorated in the same manner, interior lining in sand-coloured morocco decorated with mosaic bands of the same garnet morocco, with two silver fillets; sand-coloured moiré endpapers, double endpapers of silver-coloured paper; cover and spine preserved, edges gilt with gilt highlights, half-maroquin garnet slipcase with a band and a cover featuring a silver-boxed band, edged slipcase (Marot-Rodde).
20 original etchings engraved by Adrien Désiré Etienne, known as Drian (1885–1961).
Printed in an edition of 180 copies. One of 25 copies on antique Japanese paper, containing three states of the etchings: the first state, the second state with a remark, the final state, and an original drawing by the artist. This copy is number 17.
