VIETNAM – RARE IMPERIAL ROBE, Nguyen Dynasty (1802–1945), dating from around 1880. An imperial-style robe known as the ‘Dragon Robe’, made of red silk embroidered with gold and silver thread. This beautiful and rare robe is entirely adorned with numerous symbols and ideograms, including ten dragons chasing a flaming pearl around an imposing central five-clawed dragon.
