A silver shell-shaped fork and tablespoon; the back of the spoon is decorated with an engraved coat of arms (difficult to make out, possibly a crowned man flanked by two eagles). Silversmith’s mark: LAT and footmark for Louis-Antoine TAILLEPIED, who became a master silversmith in 1760. Crowned ‘A’ hallmark for Paris, shell countermark. Guild mark illegible. Weight: 184.6 g
