A round silver bouillon with a plain body and two handles. The moulded lid has a chain and twisted border and a rose bouquet handle. The whole is engraved with the Séguin and Brémontier coats of arms under a count's crown, and the bouillon and its lid are decorated with a mavelot topped by a viscount's crown. By the workshop of Jean-François-Nicolas Carron. Paris 1788. With a plate of the same design (later). By the workshop of Narcisse Thorel. Paris circa 1886. Bouillon 14 x 18 x 10 cm D. of plate 20.5 cm Weight 850 g The invoice for the purchase of the bouillon from Hirsch fils Ainé, dated 29 April 1876, and the invoice for the plate and engraving, by Thorel, dated 2 February 1889, are attached.
