A beautiful folded fan with a sixteen-rib frame of engraved mother-of-pearl set with silver, the centre of the fan painted with a cartouche depicting Adonis presenting the head of a wild boar to Venus, framed by Greek frets and, on either side, a flamed column with hunting attributes, against a background of painted floral garlands Dated from the late 18th century.
