Vermeil tea glass holder, 84 zolotniks (875 thousandths), with a circular base, the handle fitted with a thumb rest, decorated with chiselled foliage in niello on an amati ground within a frieze featuring two views of Moscow in niello within medallions; in the centre, a Latin monogram ‘SV’. Very good condition. Moscow, 1899–1908. Silversmith: MS in Cyrillic for the Orest KURLIUKOV workshop. Weight: 145.3 g. H. 7.5 x D. 6 cm.
