A cylindrical silver ice bucket, 84 zolotniks (875 thousandths), with a moulded rim at the top and a handle, engraved in Cyrillic with the following dedication: ‘The officers of the 4th Battalion of Turkestan Rifles to their dear commander N. I. Rimsky-Korsakov / 1895–1900’ on the front, and the interlaced monogram ‘NRK’ in Cyrillic for Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov on the back, accompanied by the officers’ signatures. Moscow, 1899–1908. Silversmith: Pyotr Pavlovich MILIUKOV, bearing the eagle of a purveyor to the Imperial Court. H. 14 x D. 14.5 cm. Weight: 588.5 g.
