A rare court dagger, mourning model, with a steel hilt and diamond-shaped pommel, entirely openworkand trimmed with jet-faceted pearls; the handle features a jet-bead chain imitating a rosary; the blade has a triangular cross-section, polished to a white finish, with traces of engravings (including a monogram beneath a crown) and gold; length 97 cm. (Without scabbard).
