1833 model officer’s percussion pistol, octagonal barrel slightly flared, with grey damask ribbon, marked: “C” and “A” in lozenges, “M N” and dated: “1852”, muzzle and breech block marbled, length 20 cm, 17 mm calibre with hairline rifling; rear lock plate with a mottled finish, hallmarked: “P” within a diamond and signed: “Mre Nle de Châtellerault”; polished white iron fittings, trigger guard and trigger, oval cap fitted with a ring; iron and brass ramrod, hallmarked; total length 36.5 cm.
Second Republic period. Good condition.
