Two oval ‘physionotrace’-style ‘églomis’ glasses:
- One depicting the bust of an officer in profile, set within a gold and silver shield, surmounted by an urn bearing the monogram ‘M’; gilded guilloché brass border; blackened wooden rectangular frame; 69 x 52 mm; (some wear); First Empire period. Fairly good condition.
- The other horizontal oval, depicting an officer’s bust within an oval gold medallion, set upon a trophy of arms, with a dove above; moulded wooden frame; 70 x 93 mm; (some minor wear); Revolutionary period, Consulate. Good condition.
