Kriegsmarine officer’s dagger, Model 1938. Gilded brass mountings. White Bakelite hilt with filigree. Eagle pommel. Guard with two fluted, rounded quillons. Body knot featuring a naval anchor. Blade by ‘Holler Solingen’ with a central ridge, engraved over two-thirds of its length on both sides with anchors, ships and foliage scrolls. Gilded brass scabbard, engraved with lightning bolts and willow leaves, with two rings. With a silver-threaded wrist strap and black velvet hangers with lion trimmings. B.E.
