An XIII model saddle pistol. Flintlock action converted to civil percussion. Barrel with a round-bore chamber, modified by replacing the breech; remaining markings: date 1813 and proof mark. Walnut stock with remnants of a badge and all brass fittings, all hallmarked by Tisseron. Mechanical damage: the ramrod is missing. L_ 36 cm France, First Empire period, modified around 1840.
