Description
Large percussion combat pistol with a white-polished octagonal barrel, slightly flared at the muzzle, chambered for 14-ball calibre, with 48 hairline rifling grooves, and a two-leaf folding rear sight. Front-mounted lock with a flat, unmarked body and a flat hammer; the flintlock chamber is situated on the weight in the original position of the pan. The gun is fitted with an oval, scalloped cap plate, the edge of which forms a junction with the mount. Round trigger guard; bat-wing-shaped counter-plate.
