A fine service pistol of the Gendarmerie, Model 1822T, produced by the Royal Manufactory of Châtellerault, as indicated on the trigger guard. Rifled barrel, a few minor pitting marks on the trigger guard, faded markings on the breech, barely visible hallmark on the left side. The pistol is fitted with iron fittings, which are stamped.
