Description
A late-model 1882 infantry officer’s sabre, as it was produced by the Manufacture Nationale de Châtellerault in February 1919. The blade is lenticular in cross-section with two fine fuller grooves, and the hilt is a multi-branch nickel silver mount. The pommel has a long tail engraved with initials. Comes in its steel sheet scabbard with a nickel-plated ferrule. Condition 1-
