Late 18th-century French school Portrait of a young woman wearing a white bonnet Miniature painted in gouache and watercolour on ivory, depicting a young woman in a three-quarter-length bust portrait, wearing a white bonnet, her brown hair falling in curls over her shoulders, and dressed in a white dress. The support is slightly irregular in shape, approx. 6 cm. Presented in a moulded circular frame of blackened wood. On the reverse, a piece of handwritten paper has been cut out and glued on, likely added at a later date. Late 18th century, circa 1780–1800.
